Jingle Bells, Batman smells…

It’s getting closer, that fun time when we spend too much, eat too much and some of us even make resolutions we’ll never keep despite trying… Do you even remember what yours was from last year? I want to see how many of you managed it… List your resolution (If it was “listable!”) and let me know, did you keep it or not?…

Best kept resolution wins an ExpoImaging – expoaperture2 depth of field guide… I was going to give it out with my newsletter (Coming later this week!) but I’ve not been able to write it as yet due to some training I’m doing. SO… Let me have it…

By the way, My resolution was to lose weight and stop spending money on Starbucks… I’ve lost weight, finally, and I make my coffee at home / work now – and very rarely have Starbucks, though, I did find a way to “Have a Starbucks” if one was required… I stole one of their mugs!

Happy Coffee and Cake – Please comment (even anonymously!) with your resolution and outcome!

Looks like a Starbucks, Doesn't taste like one though!

  1. When I saw the title I was thinking about picture quality. Not NY goals. Fail.

Um, anyway, I don’t think I made one, but I had goals? I think I wanted to get a job, do drum lessons, go to year 13, and just be happy with life. I think I failed. Although I do have a job now but it’s awful and makes me not happy with life anymore. Oh and I am doing Year 13 next year so I guess that’s ok too.

    Next year will be better.

  2. I started making resolutions in 2007 – Learn to drive and get a car. I passed my test in October and had my car by November.

After my 2007 success, I made three resolutions in 2008. Get a new job, quit smoking and clear my debt. I gave up smoking at the end of January. I didn’t manage the other two, I got promoted twice, but still wasn’t doing something I enjoyed, so I didn’t count that.

2009 – Decided to continue with 2008′s list. I started well, managed to half my debt by July. Started my new job on 1st September, and I love it. Debt has started creeping up again, but I guess I’ll leave that to next year!

  3. My photography resolutions for 2009 were…

Create new website – technically yes (there is a new holding page), but ultimately – FAIL!

Upload music photos again – technically yes (the three photos on the holding page), but ultimately – FAIL!

Sign up to a photo agency – straight-forward – FAIL!

Promote myself more by blogging / twittering / spamming – FAIL!

However, ultimately 2009 has been a roaring success winning new regular corporate clients, promo shoots with big label artists (although as the photos aren’t allowed to be released until Spring ’10, not sure if it counts) and a host of amazing experiences – SUCCEEDED!
